Lismore Hospital is located in the Northern Rivers of NSW and is a Regional Referral, Level 5 Base Hospital. The Hospital has 260 beds and each year, the Hospital sees more than 30,000 admissions and performs around 11,000 surgical procedures. 

Services at the Hospital include an Emergency Department, Intensive Care and High Dependency Units, Paediatric, Coronary, and an inpatient Mental Health Unit with 40 designated beds for voluntary and involuntary patients. There is a Community Mental Health Team onsite.

Travel, accommodation and car hire if required is provided to Locum Doctors. 

Payment for shifts completed at Lismore Hospital is paid via NSW Health Payroll only. 

A 30 minute unpaid meal break is required on all day shifts Monday to Friday only.
